Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

• The NutraCo Dietetic Internship, in collaboration with our parent organization, NutraCo, is committed to fostering a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion.
• Our company values represent expectations of how we work together to serve our students, clients and patients in which all involved can prosper.
• We are prepared to address diversity in dietetics, and to ensure our interns are fully prepared to serve diverse communities by making the following adjustments to our program:
  • Evaluating our curriculum on an ongoing basis to ensure it provides appropriate training for interns regarding diversity, equity and inclusion.
  • Reaching out to DPD programs and graduate degree programs that serve a large percentage of minorities including, but not limited to the African American, Hispanic and Asian American and Native American Pacific Islander populations.
  • Incorporating cultural humility and inclusion discussions within our intern group meetings.
